Small Business Saturday, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, is a special day created to shine the spotlight on local businesses. Many local stores offer special savings on this day as they showcase the best of Lynchburg shopping.
You’ll find something for everyone on your list as you browse in stores that are owned and operated by your friends and neighbors. Here are some favorite places to shop local in Lynchburg on Small Business Saturday and all through the year.
When you step inside Accents Flags & Gifts, located at 1716 Main Street, you’ll be filled with the holiday spirit. Christmas decor is featured throughout the store, mingled with gifts for everyone. In addition to a wide variety of full-sized and garden flags, you’ll find many home decor items, cheese ball and dip mixes, candles, scented sprays, fragrance oils, sports gifts, monogrammed gifts, baby gifts, pet gifts, wind chimes, garden decor, military decor and more.
Just down the street from Accents is Lynchburg Community Market, located at 1219 Main Street. Gift shops at Point of Honor, Old City Cemetery and Historic Sandusky are great places to shop. At these gift shops, you will find historic gifts about Lynchburg’s past and present.
