After Jeremy was blindsided and voted out, “Survivor: San Juan Del Sur: Blood vs. Water” started out with the tribe’s return to camp tonight, Nov. 26. Reed was trying to figure out his next move and whether they should go after Jon. Natalie was frustrated to have lost her closest ally and also started to think about voting Jon out. She went in search of the Immunity Idol.
The tribe met Jeff out in the water for the Reward Challenge. Once again, they picked for teams, but it was Keith who wasn’t selected this time. Jon, Jaclyn, Alec, and Reed were up against Natalie, Wes, Missy, and Baylor. One at a time, a member from each team had to swim to the first obstacle, climb up and over, jump off to grab a key, retrieve a puzzle piece in the water, and swim to a final raft to await their remaining teammates.
Once everyone and all of the puzzle pieces were on the last raft, both teams had to use the keys to unlock the puzzle pieces and put together a life-sized, stacked puzzle. Jon, Jaclyn, Alec, and Reed easily won, while the other team struggled to unlock their pieces. Baylor was disappointed they lost, since she really wanted to win for her mom, and Reed decided to give up his spot so Missy could go instead. The winning team also decided to send Wes to Exile Island.
Jon, Jaclyn, Alec, and Missy went to give baseball supplies and equipment to local kids. Jon revealed that he wanted to have kids, but Jaclyn suffered from a syndrome that does not allow her to have children.
Keith, Reed, Natalie, and Baylor returned to camp. Reed pulled Keith aside and told him about the plan to split the votes between Keith and Wes to flush the Idol. Reed wanted to keep their alliance together and vote Jon out. Meanwhile, Natalie and Baylor found an Immunity Idol.
Next up was the Immunity Challenge. Each person had to balance on a small platform while holding both arms above their heads on two wooden pegs. Jon was out as soon as Jeff came walking by with a plate of candy. Missy was down next, followed by Baylor and Jaclyn, who went after chocolate chip cookies and milk. Wes dropped for a plate full of chicken wings and two beers, and Keith and Alec went down next, leaving Natalie and Reed.
After three hours, Natalie asked Jeff if there was any more food coming out. She requested a glass of ice water, some chicken wings, pizza, and a cookie, which Jeff delivered rather quickly. She stepped down shortly after, and Reed won Immunity.
Back at camp, Reed was on a mission to vote Jon out. He told Alec about the real plan before relaying the fake plan to Missy and Baylor. Alec went along with the lie, and Missy pushed for Wes to be voted out.
At Tribal Council, Jeff asked Jaclyn where her head was after the recent blindsides. Jaclyn said she felt she was in the five strong, but she couldn’t be too sure. Baylor added that you could think you’re with someone and not be. Jeff commented that no one had used an Idol thus far, and Natalie said it was all about timing. Talked turned to the Immunity Challenge from earlier and those who felt comfortable enough to step down.
After discussing the possibility of having an Immunity Idol, Keith advised everyone to stick to the plan, which caused frantic whispering to begin on who to vote out. Natalie whispered to Jon to play his Idol, which he decided to do. Keith chose to play his as well. All the votes but two didn’t count, since they were for Jon and Keith, and it was Wes who was voted out. The others commented on Reed’s sly game play.
