“Survivor: San Juan Del Sur: Blood vs. Water” started out at Coyopa’s camp tonight, Nov. 5. Missy talked to Keith about the votes he received at Tribal Council the night before. The others chimed in to explain the plan, and Keith said they didn’t have to lie every other breath. He was frustrated he came so close to getting voted out.
Both tribes received messages to pack up their belongings and head out. Everyone had different thoughts on merging, but they were all excited to have made it that far. A feast was waiting for them, along with new aqua-colored buffs. After they ate, the newly merged tribe headed back to the former Coyopa camp.
At their new camp, Julie and Jeremy talked about missing their loved ones. Adding Natalie into the mix, Jeremy wanted to find another couple to add to his alliance. He went right to Jon and agreed they would vote out Josh. Jeremy also talked to Missy, and they hugged, excited to be back together. The merged tribe also merged their names to form a new tribe name of Huyopa.
Josh approached Baylor about working with him, despite her mom being in another alliance. Baylor realized she was in a tough spot and immediately went to talk to her mom. Missy told her she needed to talk to Josh and lie. Meanwhile, Josh went over to Jon and Jaclyn to tell them he would love to work with them.
The tribe went on the hunt for missing trail mix that was leftover from their feast. Julie was hoarding the missing items in her bag, and they found it when she wasn’t around. Julie returned to camp and overheard some comments others made, gathering the fact that the others found out her secret.
Jeff met everyone on the beach for the first individual Immunity Challenge. Each person had to hold onto two ropes that were attached to a pole and held a round, wooden disc with a ball on it that they had to balance. Jeremy was the first out, followed by Missy and Julie in the first round. The second round moved each person farther down the ropes and further away from the disc. Reed, Baylor, Jaclyn, Alec, and Natalie were out in the second round.
In the third round, everyone added a second ball, and Josh and Jon were out right away, leaving Keith and Wes to face off against each other. Wes dropped, and Keith won Immunity.
Back at camp, Julie told Missy she was just feeling lost and out of it. She wasn’t sure what to do, and her head was telling her to leave. Missy encouraged her to wait it out for just one more day. Julie understood she was asking her to stay in order to help their alliance.
Jeremy’s alliance wanted to get rid of Josh, while Josh’s alliance plotted to take out Jeremy to keep all the couples together. Jon started to feel he couldn’t trust Jeremy, but Jaclyn wasn’t sure. Jon assured Jaclyn it would be better in the long run.
Everyone wondered where Julie was, while she was actually off talking to Jeff. She told him how difficult things had been for her. Julie and her boyfriend, John, were never apart, and she struggled to be away from him while everyone else was with their loved ones. She didn’t want to stay there just because her alliance needed her as a number. Jeff confirmed Julie was officially quitting the game and went to tell the tribe.
Jeff gathered the tribe and told them Julie was quitting the game. Everyone had opinions to share, but most were frustrated at the decision she made. Jaclyn spoke about Julie hiding the trail mix, and Jon didn’t think she could deal with being selfish. Jeff then told everyone there wouldn’t be a Tribal Council.
