Streetwear is one of the biggest segments of the apparel business. It is definitely redefining fashion with its seasonless, genderless and individuality approach as it focuses on new visions and fresh designs by young fashion designers from all over the world. Many brands in streetwear are not just about the collections but about the over all experience and lifestyle experience that comes with it. Canadian brand Parloque is a great example a new global fashion digital experience we caught up with them after FAT2015 and here what they had to say.

PARLOQUE: The story for Fat2015 was ‘High Fashion Hood’ under FAT’s Global Village theme. The story held a variety of subcontexts touching upon issues with classism, racism, sexism and more.
Getthebuzz716: With Fashion going in a more genderless direction tell us why you decided to go in that direction?
PARLOQUE: Because we are essentially one. We should not view one another in groups with confinements that limit us. Fashion is a tool for self expressionism and individuality all while embracing collectivness at the same time. Rules that tell us we can’t wear this or shouldn’t wear that are bullshit, and should no longer be followed.

Getthebuzz716: Where do you see the future of fashion and wht part will you play?
PARLOQUE: I see the future of fashion as a positive tool, for the individual as well as the creative culture overall. PARLOQUE will continue to contribute to this, bringing light and meaningful fashion to the people, for the people.
