Here we have two books, one from the Holy Bible (Word of God) versus ‘On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life’ (full title). The Book of Genesis is one of the 66 books of the Holy Bible. It is the first Book in the Old Testament that Moses wrote by inspiration of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
In the Book of Genesis Chapter One verses one through thirty-one, there is not mentioned one time that God used evolution. Beginning with the first verse it said God “created“. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).
Charles Darwin in his book talks of “natural selection“. He said that natural selection was the primary way that everything changed itself from lower life forms and new species were produced. Not only is natural selection said to have produced everything, but the entire process is said to be entirely “random”. Therefore, it is not “selection” for nothing was selected! Just what ever happened next is what happened. Random variations and chance accidents are said to have produced all the wonders around us. The theory should be called “natural randomness” not natural selection. How can total randomness select only that which is better and move only in advantageous directions? Random occurrences never work that way.
Darwin could not figure out why species even existed. If his theory was correct, there would be no distinct species, only confused creatures everywhere and no two alike. Quote from H. Enoch, ‘Evolution or Creation’ (1966), p.139. “Charles Darwin, himself the father of evolution in his later days, gradually became aware of the lack of real evidence for his evolutionary speculation and wrote, “As by this theory innumerable transitional forms must have existed, why do we not find them embedded in the crust of the earth? Why is not all nature in confusion instead of being, as we see them, well defined species”.
To make the situation worse, Darwin did not know of one instance in which a species changed into another. “Not one change of species into another is on record … we cannot prove that a single species has been changed” (Charles Darwin, ‘My Life and Letters’).
So where did the species come from ? The answer is in the Holy Bible (book of Genesis) talking about “Genesis Kinds“. These “kinds” were established back in the beginning when the Earth was first created and the law of the Genesis kinds was established (Genesis 1:11,12, 20-22, 24,25). Plants, birds, sea life and land animals were each to reproduce “after their kind“. This principle was not to be violated. And this is what we find in the fossil record and in the world today. Within these Genesis kinds there was or could be variation. Take the dog for instance, there is many variations of dogs but they are all still dogs. You cannot breed a bird with a dog or a human with a gorilla, because the flesh is not the same because of their DNA chromosomes. I Corinthians 15:39 refutes evolution. “All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds“. This Scripture correlates with the Scriptures in Genesis Chapter One. Not one species of plants or animals have changed into another species.
