Uncle Milton has cornered the market bringing science and Star Wars together with some really fun, cool toys for fans of all ages. Recently they debuted their latest upcoming release The Force Trailer II at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA.
With the The Force Trainer II, you are the Jedi. Imagine that you could raise an X-wing from the Dagobah swamp just like Luke Skywalker, battle Darth Vader, or build your own lightsaber with just the power of your mind! These magical scenes are re-created through hologram images and a wireless headset with real brainwave sensors that read and interpret your levels of concentration. The more you focus, the more successful you are in using the Force to move and control the hologram image and successfully complete the Jedi challenge. The hologram images and Jedi Challenges come through an exclusive app included with the purchase of the product and powered by the user’s tablet device which projects these holograms into the unique Jedi training base. There are 10 different Jedi Training levels through which fans can advance from Padawan to Jedi Knight to Jedi Master, with instruction and guidance from Jedi Master Yoda. Additional Jedi Challenges will also be available for download on updated versions of the app as new Star Wars movies are released.
I had the chance to test out this cool new release and lived up to the fun. The headpiece sits on your head with a part on your forehead as well as a clip that attaches to your ear lobe. The first challenge presented to me was to raise the X-Wing out of the swamp which required you to focus on the force bar on the screen. The more you focus the higher it raises, but when distracted, which is easy to do on a convention floor, the X-Wing would slowly lower back down. Thankfully I was able to get the focus back and successfully lift it all the way up to complete the level. Due to my obvious prowess with the force they stepped it up to the next level, this time being forced to take and a trio of battle droids who are shooting at you and talking trash. This causes another level of concentration to keep the focus on the force bar to disband the babbling, blasting trio. Once again I proved to be strong in the force and thrust them back with nothing but my mind. With anyone that came through and completed the tasks successfully you were given a button further confirming your power in the force to wear proudly throughout the weekend of the con and beyond.
These tasks were only a couple of what the Force Trainer offers and if the lines to test it out were any indication, this is sure to be another popular item in the Uncle Milton catalog. Be on the lookout for The Force Trainer II coming later this year along with all the other awesome Uncle Milton products including the upcoming Jedi Holocron 20 Questions game.
