Note: I have a policy that I don’t cover Kickstarter or crowdfunding campaigns, but here is an exception, because I have a working review sample.
A stand for your smartphone that can fit in your pocket or on a keyring.
I like things that are small and can fit in your pocket, but ones that also serve a purpose.
Enter the MOS Kick.
The MOS Kick is the world’s smallest stand for smartphones and even tablets.
The Kick allows one to take advantage of the features of iOS 8. That would include slow motion video, timed selfies, long exposure, high quality photography, time-lapse shots, FaceTime, Skype and many more features.
Milled from solid steel and laden with included foam pads, the MOS Kicks weighs almost nothing and it’s construction and design ensure the smartphone or tablet on it will stay safe and sound.
“Apple and Android photo editing features are a photographers’ dream come true,” says Preston Wily, President of Sewell. “As the operating systems improved we saw the need for a device that could affix to a tripod, but was small enough to fit on your key chain. The MOS Kick is way for novice and professional photographers to take stunning photos and videos.”
MOS is trying to meet their goal of $25,000 by late-November, but kudos to them for having samples to show to the media. It is expected to ship just after the holidays, and this would make a great accessory gift for the holidays.
The MOS Kick is slated to retail for $34.95, but can be per-ordered at discounted rates by backing the brand on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1578125715/mos-kick-stand-out.
Give it a look.
Per MOS, here is a little on the construction:
The MOS Kick is sturdy because of it’s all metal construction. We chose materials to create a solid base and counterweight to hold a phone properly. The MOS Kick can stand the test of time and handle the constant abuse of being in your pocket or on your backpack.
