“Jeb Bush rockets to the top of the CNN 2016 GOP presidential poll” is the title of Mark Whittington’s (Houston Politics Examiner) article of Dec. 28, 2014 where he states that CNN reported on Sunday that former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is now on top of the 2016 Republican nomination race, according to a recent poll. Bush polls at 23 percent of the voters responding to the poll.
Whittington goes on to say that it is conventional wisdom to suggest that polls taken over a year from the first primary contests are meaningless and rely mostly on name recognition. It should be noted that in August, 2010, Mitt Romney, the eventual 2012 nominee, was at 21 percent in the same poll. So what does this suggest—that Jeb Bush is alive and well for 2016. That’s the Republican side of our American family.
Now let us look over at the Hillary Clinton’s camp (Democrats) and we find as frontrunner she is slipping in the polls which is probably a political ploy spearheaded by guess who (with Hillary you get 2 for 1 remember what we were told previously). “Hillary Clinton slips in presidential poll: Was 2014 a bad year for her?” so asks Christian Science Monitor’s Mark Sappenfield in his article dated Dec. 21, 2014. According to Sappenfield, a new poll shows that Hillary Clinton holds a shrinking lead over the Democratic field for the 2016 presidential race. But it is still huge and the drop isn’t alarming.
What do we have here in our American pie family (where everyone is entitled to a piece if they do what they do in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others and the laws of God, nature and man) are two political parties each represented by American family dynasties that are currently appearing as frontrunners; so as a complete country in terms of the 2016 presidential election—it is a family affair for the nation of the United States of America to get ourselves, our families, party or no-party affiliations and all else in order so that together we can place our country back on a firm foundation—solid as a rock with the best possible leadership to lead our American know-how to success in all arenas for the benefit of the people.
Time now for us all to take stock as to who we are individually in our own personal families to make sure we identify, connect and reflect what we believe then select those seeking public office that confirm back that they will carry our own personal message (as we unite on the way to 2016 with others similarly in beliefs, issues and concerns) to the White House. Uniting or even compromising with our personal families is the beginning of unity and working together for the country, because ultimately it is an American family affair each and every day.
