“The Age of Adaline”: This drama directed by Lee Toland Krieger follows a young woman named Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively), who was born at the turn of the century but, after a terrible car accident, finds she can no longer age. For decades she lives alone, afraid that getting too close to anyone would reveal her secret. Then she meets and falls in love with Ellis Jones (Michiel Huisman) and everything changes. Runtime: 110 minutes. Rated PG-13 for a suggestive comment.
“Ex Machina”: This sci-fi movie written and directed by Alex Garland centers around Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson), a young coder at a large technology company who wins a competition to spend a week at the CEO’s (Oscar Isaac) private resort. There, he meets the world’s first artificial intelligence, housed in the body of a robot girl. Runtime: 108 minutes. Rated R for graphic nudity, language, sexual references and some violence.
“Little Boy”: This drama directed by Alejandro Monteverde is set during World War II and follows a young boy named Pepper Flynt Busby (Jakob Salvati), who doesn’t let his size deter him from doing whatever it takes to bring his dad home from the war alive.
