Fox’s “Justice” host Judge Jeanine Pirro has added her two cents worth to the Hillary Clinton email server controversy and she’s putting her money on Congressman Trey Gowdy’s (R-SC) House committee investigating Her. She made her comments during her Saturday show.
In the second of her two opening statements, Judge Pirro turned her attention to the Hillary Clinton email scandal. She said that congressman Trey Gowdy, a former prosecutor and a man who doesn’t take kindly to lies and the disregard of subpoenas, now has Clinton between a rock and hard place. If his past actions concerning Benghazi are any indicator, the man is a tenacious bulldog when it comes to Hillary’s antics.
Pirro said, “Would those emails have shed light on your foundation raising millions of dollars from countries that you were doing business with as secretary of state? Or would those emails have shed light on what actually went on in Benghazi? Or why you refused to designate Boko Haram a terrorist organization?”
She added, “You’re a smart lady, Hillary. I get why you wanted a private server. But you may just have outsmarted yourself.” Yet Hillary’s excuse for two mobile devices is convenience. As she puts it, “When I got to work as secretary of state, I opted for convenience to use my personal email account, which was allowed by the State Department, because I thought it would be easier to carry just one device for my work and my personal emails instead of two. She made that statement on March 10th, before the country knew she destroyed all her personal emails.
But anyone in the know will tell you it makes sense that you don’t want to carry two devices. Forget that you could have put two email accounts on the same one device. Those were the words Trey Gowdy used to describe the bizarre arrangement of mechanical devices.
But that’s not the end of this saga. Now the country finds out she not only had a private server and a separate email account, but an iPad, too! Now an iPad is at least three times the size of a Blackberry. There goes that “convenience” excuse.
Will Hillary disregard Gowdy’s subpoena to testify on Capitol Hill? The congressman , former prosecutor and a man who doesn’t take kindly to lies and the disregard of subpoenas, now has the former secretary of state literally in his legal sights.
What Gowdy loathes more than anything is someone he is investigating who destroys evidence, conceals evidence or lies. Hillary’s explanations thus far will not go the distance with the congressman. You simply do not poke Gowdy in the eye and survive it.
Hillary Clinton is a smart lady. But why would you want a private server in the highly secretive job you held? You may have just outsmarted yourself.
