The 11th Digital Studio Awards, recognizing achievements from top studios, production companies and technology firms, took place on Wednesday, March 11, at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City, UAE. RGH CEO and Executive Producer Randa Ayoubi accepted the honor in person and on behalf of the entire cast and crew.
Additionally, Postman Pat: The Movie is the centerpiece official selection of the inaugural Women’s MiniFest, curated and run by Women in Film during Digital Hollywood Summit. The MiniFest is a day of screenings and discussions celebrating females behind the best in content, including TV, music, movies, mobile, and virtual reality. The gathering takes place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, CA today.
Theatrically released worldwide in 2014, Postman Pat: The Movie showcases cast members Stephen Mangan as Postman Pat; Academy Award® and BAFTA® Award winner Jim Broadbent (The Iron Lady); Rupert Grint (Harry Potter film franchise); international recording star Ronan Keating (The X Factor Australia); David Tennant (Gracepoint; Broadchurch; Doctor Who); and Parminder Nagra (Bend It Like Beckham; The Blacklist).

Postman Pat and Jess, his black and white cat, have been delighting pre-school audiences around the globe for over three decades. Today, the action TV series Postman Pat: Special Delivery Service airs on CBeebies in the UK, as well as in 85+ countries worldwide. Postman Pat: The Movie marks the motion picture debut of the iconic mail carrier.
Established in 2007, Los Angeles-based RGH Entertainment is the wholly owned animation development and production division of Rubicon Group Holding (RGH). Several other co-productions, including High in the Clouds – a big screen, animated musical based on the children’s book of the same title by Paul McCartney – are in active development at RGH.
Mike Disa (Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil) is the director of Postman Pat: The Movie. Nicole Dubuc is the screenwriter. The original story is by Kim Fuller (Spice World; High Heels and Low Lifes) and Annika Bluhm, veteran producer of the Postman Pat TV series.
Robert Anich is producer. Alongside DreamWorks Classics’ Eric Ellenbogen and Doug Schwalbe, Randa Ayoubi executive produces. David J. Corbett also shares in executive producer duties.
