Vice President Joe Biden has swept the nation’s media outlets in the past day with embarrassment again, according to a host of media sources including the Washington Examiner on Tuesday. Being called “hands-on” and “handsy” in negative ways, Biden’s latest headlines are accompanied by a photo of the Vice President of the United States putting his hands on Stephanie Carter, the wife of the nation’s new Secretary of Defense, Ashton Carter. Apparently, Biden abused his duty of swearing in the new Defense Secretary to engage in a a good twenty-seconds or so of touchy-feely once again.
When the incident occurred during the swearing-in on Tuesday, social media lit up with various responses ranging from being appalled to being entertainingly humored. Among the comments were “Bill (Clinton) taught him well.” Naturally, this is a reference to the blatant womanizing moves of former President Bill Clinton who performed the ultimate womanizing act via Monica Lewinsky in the Oval Office in the White House during his presidency. Other comments repeatedly used the word “creepy” to describe his hands’ actions on the latest victimized woman.
Regarding the latest womanizing act from a Democrat in power, Tuesday’s incident occurred as Ashton Carter was delivering his first speech as the Pentagon’s chief. During Secretary Carter’s premier speech in the spotlight, Joe Biden stole the show by having his two hands linger on the Secretary’s wife’s shoulders with a handy-embrace. While his hands lingered, Biden took it upon himself to speak into Stephanie Carter’s ear while the new Secretary spoke at the microphone. Biden appeared oblivious to the fact that the Secretary was even speaking, according to the Yahoo! News photo. In turn, the Secretary of Defense was oblivious to what was going on in the background. Some comments on social media suggested that if Carter can’t protect his wife from Biden, he is not going to perform effectively as the nation’s Secretary of Defense.
It isn’t the first time Biden has grabbed the attention of an event via his hands touching females in the background. Last month, he behaved in a similar manner around a female at the swearing-in of new Senators in Washington, D.C. A still-popular online photo of Biden shows him grabbing reporter Amie Parnes at a 2013 Christmas party. And talk is, this guy has his eye on the Oval Office in 2016. With embarrassments like these, many are saying they hope his hands never get there.
