There is only one. This applies to concept, reality and the expression of all that is. Beginning with our thoughts we can see how their appearance may seem to be random. This random nature of thought is however, illusory. Thought comes in response to an intention.
We have an eternal choice. We can choose good on a regular basis and experience good the same. Conversely we can choose evil and experience its negative results. A third possibility exists where we do nothing, however, in this case we are then forced to react to situations without the consciousness of choice. This brings about mixed results.
Focus is the key to intention. This is a very specific focus upon good. It cannot be disseminated or mixed. The totality of good is achieved through a constant attention to its central purpose which is the source of all, the Perpetual One, the continuous Creation that brings everything into being.
Torah teaches us about the beginning, about Bereishis. In my English commentary of Tikkunei Zohar Bereishis is examined in seventy different ways including all the significant prayers and associations that tie into the deepest parts of Jewish mysticism. At its heart lies Shekhinta the feminine principle and the source of the flow of the life that awakens in us every moment we pay attention to it.
Shekhinta chimes in every time we make the right choice for good. Through our feeling nature we experience wholeness and a sense of unified being. This is how we learn to trust our good and to promote every step of the way. We learn that it is by reflection that all has come into being including the very souls that we partake of in our quest for meaning in this miraculous life.
Imagine that we are riding in a chariot called the body and we may lead this chariot everywhere by using the reins upon the horse that powers us through every mile. The horse is the life force. The reins are the choices we make and the road we travel upon is Shekhinta. It is Shekhinta because the more we choose good the smoother the road becomes, and the way is cleared before us.
Make the right choice in this moment. Choose good in an unending cycle of love.
