The Middle East, 472-480 Massachusetts Ave in Cambridge has a big line up on Friday, Feb. 20 with four bands: The John Hanifin Band, Blessing Offor, Mariko and the Snacktones.
The John Hanifin Band is a pop, rock and classical band led by classically trained and professional cellist, John Hanifin. The band has recently released three music videos and are now in process of recording their second release, Cheers To Alliance. The band is: John Hanifin, Brandon H. The Biznezz will be at Player’s Sports Bar, 86 VFW Drive in Rockland on Friday, Feb. 20. The band is a rock cover band that came together in 2006 with seasoned Boston based musicians. A Boston country favorite, Walkin the Line will be at LLD’s, 147 Frost Street in Tyngsboro on Friday, Feb. 20. They are a modern top 40 country dance band. They are: Ashley Hewitt on lead vocals and fiddle, Kevin White on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Stephen Dyon on lead guitar and vocals, Jordan Alegant on bass and vocals and John Repucci on drums. The Juggs will be at Bull McCabe’s Pub, 366 Somerville Ave in Somerville on Friday, Feb. 20. The Jugghead Band is a Boston based roots band with a whole lot of soul. They are the first ones to say that they play in the spirit of a front porch family band. The band is: Patrick Hanlin, Lucas DelCid, Luke Hanlin, Reid Anguin, Fred Bement, Andrew DelCid, Adam Gamwell and Daryl Romkey.
Saturday, Feb. 21, Pete’s Bar & Grill, 540 South Street in Quincy has Doubleshot Boston Band, one of the best hard rock cover band’s in Boston. They play the heavy metal rockin music that other bands won’t play. The band is: Billy Feeney, Bob Coots,

On Saturday, Febraury 21, the Sinclair, 52 Church Street in Cambridge has the Rustic Overtones, a seven piece rock band from Portland, Maine, who will be celebrating their album release. Also performing is the Jauntee and The Aldous Collins Band.
The Rustic Overtones discography spans 20 years and is a unique version of indie rock strongly influenced by soul music, garage punk, jazz and psychedelic music of the 60’s and 70’s. The band has collaborated and recorded with David Bowie, Imogen Heap, Ray Lamontagne, Eric Krasno, Funkmaster Flex and Naughty by Nature, as songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, arrangers, and composers and toured nationally as direct support for De La Soul, Steel Pulse, and Run DMC among others. The Jauntee is a Boston based band who average about 100 shows per year and have quickly made a name for themselves. Their sound is an improvisational landscape which spans multiple genres such as bluegrass, funk, jazz, progressive, psychedelic and rock.
