Friday, Feb. 27, it’s MONSTER a KISS tribute band at the C Note, 159 Nantasket Ave in Hull. Make up, costumes, music, they’ve got the whole visual experience. The band is: Ray Bailey on bass and vocals (Gene Simmons-The Demon), Jay Liguori on drums and vocals (Peter Criss-The Catman), Jeff Gilbert on guitar and vocals (Paul Stanley-The Starchild), and A Wall on guitar and vocals (Ace Frehley-The Spaceman).
Jim Cippo Cippollini will be rockin it at Rocco’s, 7 Short Street in Randolph on Friday, Feb. 27. Some of you may know Cippollini as the lead vocalist of the hard rock Guns n Roses Tribute Band, Welcome to the Jungle. He plays acoustic at Rocco’s which showcases his soulful vocal talent. Blues legend, James Montgomery will be performing with his band at Firefly’s BBQ, 350 E. Main Street in Marlborough on Saturday, Feb. 28. Montgomery put his band together in the late 1970’s and quickly rose to musical fame being signed by Capricorn Records to a multi album deal. His stage swagger and presence and tight knit band hold the audiences attention. Throughout his career Montgomery has shared the stage and toured with Buddy Guy, BB King, Bruce Springsteen, The Allman Brothers, Johnny Winter Band and many others. Another legend and influential musician is Jon Butcher Axis who will be performing at The Center for the Arts, 14 Summer Street in Natick on Saturday, Feb. 28. Butcher is now recording his latest album, Two Roads East at Q Division Studios in Somerville and Bang-a-Song Studios in Gloucester. In 2014 Butcher performed with the Dateline Experience Hendrix Tour to a sold out house. In 1991 Butcher started the company Electric Factory Music which provides film score, soundtrack and music licensing services for television and film companies.
