Lovers of craft beer, live music and great local food won’t want to miss the 6th Annual Traverse City Winter Microbrew & Music Festival taking place under heated tents this Saturday, February 7th at the Sara Hardy Parking Lot in Downtown.
The Jolly Pumpkin is kicking off this year’s festival with a Brewer’s Social on Friday, February 6th. Brewers and Beer Enthusiasts are invited to join in to an evening of beer, food, and fun. Musical entertainment by Younce Guitar Duo & Miriam Pico. The cost is $40 per guest and includes food, tax gratuity and your first pint of beer. Space is limited, so please call to make your reservation – 231-223-4333.
Brewer’s Social attendees will also have the first opportunity to purchase the Jolly Pumpkin’s 2015 La Roja Grand Reserve for $15 a bottle (no limit per customer).
The Brew Bus will be offering a shuttle service to and from The Jolly Pumpkin if you’re looking for a safe and fun way to enjoy the event. Bay Area Recycle for Charities, a Traverse City non-profit organization will be catering recycled goods for this event, as well as recycling all of your ‘trashy treasures.’
BARC serves five counties making up the Traverse Bay area. The close-knit team focuses on converting recyclables into revenues not only to support itself and fund its expansion, but to achieve its ultimate goal of giving maximum donations to local charities.
BARC offers easy, convenient options for maximizing the effect of your recycling, beginning with drop-off sites and pick-up service. The profits from the resources collected will be contributed to local charities.
